Record who paid and for whom. The total balances to the cent and, if you add personal payment details, guests can open PayPal, Revolut or Hype directly from the invitation.

CountTable stays simple when you work alone. For group planning, add up to 10 co-organisers with their CountTable code and work together on the same event.

Personal invitations, no account required
Create an RSVP link for each person or group: their response and headcount go into the event without revealing expenses, products or other guests’ data.

With Just Split, an adult starts at 1 unit and a child at 0.5. You can change the weights and CountTable allocates the exact total down to the cent.

PayPal, Revolut and Hype remain external services: availability, access, limits and terms depend on each provider. CountTable stores only the public payment reference chosen by the organiser.

Frequently asked questions
What you need to know.
Is CountTable only for splitting the bill?
No. It organizes guests, quantities, products, shopping lists and costs. Just Split is the quick route for occasions when you only need to calculate shares.
How are quantities calculated?
From the template rules: you can set different quantities for each guest type, fixed items, and targets by weight, volume or number of items. You can always edit the rules.
Can I create my own templates?
Yes. Edit an available template or save an event setup. Guests, previous expenses and payments are not copied; only the useful starting point remains.
Can I use templates created by other people?
Yes. The Community contains approved templates that you can sort by uses, ratings or date. Importing one gives you an independent copy; the creator’s events and personal data are never shared.
Do I need to enter the same people or groups every time?
No. Save them in your contacts and select them when you create an event, or add people and groups for one event only.
Can I organize with other people?
Yes. Guests can RSVP and manage only their assigned tasks through their link, without an account. With Plus Beta, you can also add up to 10 co-organizers with accounts to work with you on the entire event.
How much does CountTable cost during the beta?
There is currently one active plan: Plus Beta, free of charge and with no card, purchases, subscriptions, or renewals. The price and terms of any future Plus plan, and whether a Free plan will exist, have not been decided; they will be clearly communicated before anything changes.
Can I include coeliac, vegetarian or vegan needs?
Yes. In the invitation you can allocate Adults and Children across omnivore, vegetarian or vegan diets and separately indicate who requests gluten-free, as well as using the free-text note. You can save the same details privately in your contacts: they are shared only with new, explicit consent for each event. Warnings only compare declarations; CountTable does not certify ingredients, allergens or cross-contamination.
Do my events stay private when I share?
Yes. A co-organizer can only view and edit the event you add them to. A guest sees only essential invitation details and any shopping assigned to them; they cannot open or edit the rest of the event.
